Asian Cultural Union
Established in 1972, Asian Cultural Union remains the only Asian umbrella group at NYU and is one of the largest and most prominent organizations in the history of the university.
After joining the club in 2018, I took on multiple positions within the organization. During my first year, I started out as a Graphic Designer, my sophomore and junior year as VP of Marketing, and finally taking on the title of President my senior year.
During the course of my time in ACU, I was able to contribute and direct over 60 successful events to the 1,200 general members in ACU. My responsibilities included hosting meetings weekly to establish marketing strategies, overseeing the club’s budget, planning events which promote culture and inclusivity, and delegating tasks to the marketing and event committees on the executive board.
